Rodney Jerkins says Janet has left Island Def Jam

In a new vlog on Rap-Up.com, "Feedback" producer Rodney Jerkins revealed that Janet has left her record label Island Def Jam after requesting to be released from her contract.

"We made a great record with the record 'Feedback.' We felt like we made a great record with a song called 'Luv' that was supposed to be the second single, but we just feel like we didn't get the support from the record company," he said in the interview. "She was asking to be released and got released."

He continued, "I have a great relationship established with her now. I told her, 'Whatever you need, whatever type of record you make, I'm here.' I would love to do another album with her, I've expressed that to her, where I could make an album with her - possibly me, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis."

He went on to say that Janet is not considering recording another album until after the tour is over.

My personal opinion is that he needs to promote his campaign more if he wants to be president. I think it's about time for a democrat to run the country. Because after the last 8 years it's been down hill and with this election I hope everyone gets out and votes.

So Excited

In a matter of about 12 days or so I will be going to my first concert ever and I can't wait to get there and see the icon perform many many hits. I've been a big fan since forever and I have all of her albums. But anywho the excitement and anticipation is kicking and it's hard trying to resist reading about what's already happened on the tour and such but the day is coming soon and I will get to experience Ms. Jackson really soon.
